Based on the specific classification (Integrity 'E', Radiation Control 'EW', or full Insulation 'EI'), these panels maintain their structural integrity within the frame, preventing the passage of toxic smoke and flames for a specified duration (typically 30, 60, 90, or 120 minutes). In the case of fully insulated (EI) variants, the glass also blocks lethal radiant heat, ensuring safe evacuation routes remain cool and passable.
