Slumped Glass

Sculptural kiln-formed textures for distinctive architectural surfaces

Slumped Glass

Our SLUMPED GLASS collection celebrates the sculptural beauty created when flat glass is softened and shaped by heat and gravity. Also known as kiln-formed or thermoformed glass, each panel is placed over or into a refractory mould and fired until it conforms to the texture, curve, or relief. Unlike cast glass rocks or Dalle de Verre, slumped glass begins as a sheet and retains a panel form. The process can produce waves, flutes, ripples, organic impressions, three-dimensional patterns, and curved profiles. Ideal for feature walls, partitions, doors, shower enclosures, balustrades, furniture, lighting elements, and façade areas, it transforms transmitted or backlighting into highlights and shadows. We provide customised kiln-formed glass that introduces depth, privacy, movement, and handcrafted character to architectural environments.
